About Kreig Jacque

Growing up in Northeast Iowa, Kreig spent many days in the outdoors and would then spend his evenings reflecting the day’s events with pencil and brush. After years of support from family and friends, Kreig made the decision to go professional in 2004.  His decision paid off the first part of 2007 when he won the 2007 Iowa Ducks Unlimited Print of the Year. His list of accomplishments has been growing since.

Charitable Foundation: Aiming for a Cure
Recently, on March 15, 2008 Kreig donated a piece of his artwork that was inspired by Ben Ries-son of Steve and Jodie Reis who passed away at age 12 of childhood cancer. Mr. and Mrs. Ries are the founders of the Aiming for a Cure Foundation-of Central City, Iowa. The Aiming for a Cure Foundation supports the University of Iowa Hospitals and families of children with cancer. Since 2008 Kreig’s artwork has raised $30,000 for the foundation.
